HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Rena Pelletier Henderson, 81, passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at home, after a lengthy illness. Rena was born in Presque Isle, to parents, Dennis Pelletier and Lillian Anderson of New Sweden. She was a 1944 graduate of Presque Isle High School and later worked 11 years for Northern National Bank until 1965, when she moved to Alabama with her husband, Roy L. “Bud” Henderson of Blue Hill. Rena was predeceased by her parents; and her brothers, Linwood Pelletier of Cornish and Ralph Pelletier of Fort Fairfield. Rena is survived by her husband, Roy; her daughter, who also attended Presque Isle High School, Susan Shaw Craddock of Huntsville, Ala.; her stepson, F. Bruce Henderson of Milledgeville, Ga.; her grandchildren, Matthew D. Craddock of Huntsville, Ala., Courtney Craddock Armstrong of Montgomery, Ala., Angela Craddock DeHart of Atlanta, Donna Craddock Zittrouer of Atlanta and Rachael L. Henderson of Atlanta; and four great-grandchildren. Her funeral Mass was held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
