SOUTHWEST HARBOR, Maine — A 50-foot fishing vessel lost power Sunday afternoon in 6- to 8-foot seas just off the south side of Swan’s Island.
There was one person on board the Searoad at the time.
According to a U.S. Coast Guard spokesman, the vessel, owned by William Ambrose of Woolwich, was towed safely to Beals Co-op in Southwest Harbor. No injuries were reported.
