BROWNVILLE and BANGOR Doris Mae Jenkins, 93, died Dec. 22, 2008, at a Bangor nursing home. She was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Danforth, the daughter of James Blaine and Minnie (DeWitt) Jenkins. She is survived by a son, Richard Jenkins and his wife, Donna, of Orneville; a brother, Donald Jenkins of Brownville; four grandchildren, Nicholas Jenkins, Lindsay Small, Taylor Small, all of Milo, and Kathryn Jenkins and her companion, Josh, of Brownville Junction; one great-granddaughter, Alexis Damon of Brownville Junction; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Skip Jenkins and his family of Colorado. She was predeceased by a brother, James; and two sisters, Geraldine Monahan and Ethel Lee. Graveside funeral services in the spring at the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery will be announced by Lary Funeral Home, Milo.
