EDDINGTON – Foster Elliott Perkins, 79, died Dec. 27, 2008, at home. He was born Jan. 1, 1929, in Pembroke, son of Forrest and Viola (Antoine) Perkins. He had several jobs throughout his life, but worked mostly for Maine Central Railroad, retiring some 30 years later. During his younger, days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his older days he enjoyed yard sales and going to the Attic to meet and talk with old and new friends. He is survived by three sons, whom he was very proud of, Larry, David and Steven Perkins. At his request, there will be no visiting hours.
