At Newcastle Tuesday, Steph Winehenback netted 16 points to lead Lincoln Academy past Belfast. Kassie Lincoln added 10 points for the Eagles. Danielle Littlefield had 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals for Belfast.

At Worcester, Mass., Brianna Peterson connected for 27 points as Catholic University rolled in the WPI Invitational consolation game. Jenn Canale added 10 points for the winners. Talaya Woodall’s 14 points led UMaine-Machias while Jennie Hare added 12.
Bowdoin claims tourney
At Brunswick, host Bowdoin College defeated Wheaton 64-39 to win the Coastal Maine Clas-sic. William Smith knocked off Maine Maritime of Castine 89-52 in the consolation game. In the title game, Alexa Kaubris scored 15 points to lead three Polar Bears in double figures. Ellery Gould added 11 and Cait-lin Hynes 10 while Maria Nou-cas had 10 rebounds. Bowdoin jumped out to a 35-12 halftime lead. In the consolation game, Latasha Coney tossed in 52 points while Ashlinn Barber had 18 to lead William Smith to the win. Tatum Welch’s 20 points paced Maine Maritime while Samantha Goda added 13 for the Mariners.
