BANGOR – Mary P. Houlihan, 86, died Dec. 31, 2008, at a local nursing home. She was born March 31, 1922, in Bangor, the daughter of O. Francis and Mary (McAuley) Perry. Mary was a graduate of St. Mary’s Grammar School and John Bapst High School. She was a communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church and a member of the women’s council. She is survived by one son, William T. Houlihan of Boston; two daughters, Mary C. Houlihan of California and Mrs. Beth Kotredes and her husband, Arthur; grandson, Jon; and granddaughter, Kate. She was predeceased by her husband, William T. Houlihan. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Greenlawn Memorial Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Catholic Church. Interment will be afterward in the family lot at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
