At East Millinocket, Aaron Hutchins tallied a game-high 21 points to power Schenck by Penquis of Milo. Jared Waite scored 12 points while Terry McCafferty added 11 for the Wolverines. Ryan Bailey and Caleb Stan-ley paced Penquis with nine points apiece.

At Presque Isle, Ethan Braley scored 17 points to lead Presque Isle past Central of Corinth. Russ Mortland netted 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Wildcats. Jacob Speed paced Central with eight points.
Bangor Chr. 81, Searsport 56
At Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor, senior Brett Bradford totaled 31 points, nine steals and seven rebounds as Bangor Christian earned its first win. Jon Johnson had 17 points, 15 rebounds and four assists for the Patriots. Tyler Alexander scored 14 points. Dan Peach led Searsport with 17 points. Dylan McFarlin scored 13 points while James Seekins and Rocky Faunce had 10 points apiece.
Easton 78, East Grand 40
At Easton, Brad Trask scored 27 points as Easton defeated East Grand of Danforth. Sam Bacon and Sean Daniels each added 10 points for the Bears. Kaleb Dicker led East Grand with 40 points. Seth Cropley had 10 points.
Greenville 51, Calvary Chapel 41
At Orrington, Emerson Sikes scored 18 points as the Lakers rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit for the victory. Richie Munster added nine points and eight blocked shots for Greenville, while Tony DiAngelo had nine points and 11 rebounds and Joe Gilbert had eight points and 10 rebounds. Josh Monroe led Calvary Chapel with 12 points, while Zach Austin scored 10.
Washington Acad. 69, Lee 61
At East Machias, Ben Teer totaled 24 points, six rebounds and four assists as Washington Academy beat Lee Academy. Noah Von Rotz added 19 points for the Raiders. Tyler Doty scored 31 points to lead the Pandas. Dean MacDonald chipped in 10 points.
Mattanawcook 72, MDI 64
At Lincoln, senior guard Brady Vose matched his career high with 35 points as the Lynx earned their fifth victory. Vose made four 3-point goals, and also shot 7-of-8 from the free throw line as Mattanawcook maintained a modest lead for most of the game. MDI tied the game late in the fourth quarter, but Vose then was fouled while shooting a 3-pointer and made all three free throws to give Mattanawcook the lead for good. Kane McKinnon added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Lynx. Jasper Cousins led Mount Desert Island with 16 points, while Jayson Burke scored 13.

At Machias, Deer Isle-Stonington erased an eight-point deficit at the end of the third quarter en route to victory over Machias. Audra Eaton scored eight of her 23 points in the fourth quarter to spark the Mariners. Tiara Lipton paced Machias with 16 points.
Cen. Aroostook 31, Washburn 23
At Mars Hill, Rachael Grew netted 16 points to lead Central Aroostook to victory. Rachel Palmer scored 12 points to pace Washburn.
Fort Fairfield 45, Limestone 23
At Fort Fairfield, Whitney Clark and Amanda Hotham each scored 11 points to lead unbeaten Fort Fairfield to its sixth win. Kellie Peers paced Limestone/Maine School of Science and Mathematics with five points.

At Belfast on Friday, Morgan Frame registered 28 points to lead Waterville by Belfast. Jen Nale added 15 points for the Panthers. Brittany Dyer scored 13 points to pace Belfast.

At East Machias, Andi Flannery posted 12 points, 11 rebounds and five steals to spark Washington Academy by Lee Academy. Jana Espling added 12 points for the Raiders. Kellsey Grass paced Lee Academy with eight points.
Calais 60, Houlton 38
At Calais, Hillary Hollingdale scored nine of her 11 points in the first quarter as the Blue Devils moved out to a big lead en route to their fifth victory. Kelli Cross led Calais with 15 points. Vanessa Sanderson also scored 15 points to pace Houlton.
Presque Isle 64, Central 63
At Presque Isle, Caitlyn Esancy twice tied the game on 15-foot jumpers with under two minutes remaining while Kayla Richards sealed the win for Presque Isle over Central of Corinth. Esancy tied it at 61-61 on a jump shot for Presque Isle and tied it again at 63-63. Richards made one of her two free throw attempts with 3.1 seconds remaining to give the Wildcats the lead and the win. Chelsea Nickerson and Kayla Legassie each scored 16 points to lead Presque Isle. Sarah Porter scored 11 points. Esancy totaled 10 points while Richards had six assists with her seven points. Bekka Campbell led Central with 22 points. Hannah Pray scored 18 points and Sam Blanchard added 11 points.
MDI 49, Foxcroft 28
At Bar Harbor, Megan Phelps scored a season-high 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Trojans cruised to victory. Phelps had four 3-pointers, and she scored nine points in the second quarter when MDI outscored Foxcroft 20-7 to pull away. Sara Carroll added 11 points for MDI. Vanessa Lougee paced Foxcroft Academy with 18 points.
Stearns 52, Bangor Christian 23
At Millinocket, Kirsten Marter scored 11 points as Stearns defeated Bangor Christian. Samantha Lyons had 10 points for the Minutemen. Katherine Bragg, Emma Johnson and Kelly Robinson scored six points apiece to lead the Patriots.
East Grand 31, Easton 27
At Easton, Kelsey Daoust scored 23 points to push East Grand of Danforth past Easton. Ashley Nickerson led Easton with 11 points.
PVHS 78, Piscataquis 57
At Guilford, Casey McCloskey netted 18 points to lead Penobscot Valley of Howland by Piscataquis. Meghan King tallied 16 points while Kirstie Dawson scored 14 points and Kristina Hallett added 10 for the Howlers. Julia Shaffer paced Piscataquis with a game-high 19 points. Shazery Bravi chipped in with 14 points.

At Houlton, Ashir Abouleish and Cody Briggs scored two goals apiece to lead Houlton-Hodgdon by Hampden Academy. Lowell Matthews and Morgan Hall each added a goal for Houlton-Hodgdon. Craig Buxton, Ian Gervais, Logan Holmes, Avery McGuire, Ashir Abouleish and Matthews each grabbed an assist. Malik Abouleish and Avery Kibler combined to make 30 saves on 32 shots for the 3-3-1 Black Hawks. Marc Albert and Nate Rocker each netted a goal for Hampden. Nate Baker and Cooper Williams each had an assist. Jacob Ward stopped 33 of 39 shots for the 0-6 Broncos.
Bangor 11, Presque Isle 3
At Sawyer Arena, Bangor, Darren Casey-Covell had a hat trick as Bangor defeated Presque Isle. Johnny Warren scored two goals for the 4-2 Rams. Joey Seccareccia had a goal and two assists while Jacob Turmel, Nic Cota, Noah Frost and Ryan King each had a goal and an assist. Alan Reese added a goal and Adam King provided two assists. Zack Hamilton turned away 20 of 23 shots. Brennen Shaw scored a goal and assisted another for the 2-3-3 Wildcats. Dylan Collins and Jason Martin scored. Connor Shaw recorded an assist. Josh MacFarline and Nic Davis combined for 23 saves on 34 shots. JV: Presque Isle 6-2

At Williamstown, Mass., Lauren Yanofsky totaled 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead Bates College to victory over Norwich University in the Williams College Winter Classic Saturday Val Beckwith led Bates with 19 points. Kellie Goodridge chipped in 10 points Ally Daniels scored 14 points to pace Norwich.
Colby 58, U-New England 51
At Waterville, Julianne Kowalski had 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists as Colby College defeated the University of New England of Brunswick Saturday Alison Cappelloni added 13 points for the Mules Alli Gamache led the Nor’easters with 17 points.
Saint Joseph’s 68, Cedar Crest 62
At Key Largo, Fla., Saint Joseph’s College of Standish outscored Cedar Crest College of Pennsylvania 37-30 in the second half to claim victory in the Key Largo Classic opener Saturday Carolyn Freeman led the Lady Monks with 19 points and nine rebounds. Meghan Daigle scored 15 points and Megan McDevitt had 12 points. Alysn Ludwig added seven points and nine rebounds Kelly Oakes scored 14 points, leading five Cedar Crest players in double-digit points.
UMFK wins two
At New Brunswick, the University of Maine-Fort Kent earned a pair of wins over the weekend with a 75-60 win over St. Thomas University on Saturday and a 72-55 victory over Atlantic Baptist on Sunday In Saturday’s game at Bristol, Kristin Violette scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for 6-5 UMFK. Ashley Ames netted 17 points while Talisha Herring scored 15 points and Angela Norsworthy had 10 Hayley Doney led 9-1 St. Thomas with 16 points In Sunday’s game at Moncton, Violette scored 18 points to lead the Bengals. Norsworthy posted 15 points while Amber Garrison scored 14 points and Ames added 13. Angela Daley paced 4-6 Atlantic Baptist with 11 points.
Williams 84, Bates 63
At Williamstown, Mass., Jill Greenberg had 18 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to lead Williams College to victory over Bates College in the championship game of the Williams Winter Classic Sunday Chessie Jackson led Williams with 20 points while Mika Peterman added 19 points Lauren Yanofsky scored 14 points to pace Bates. Val Beckwith had 13 points. Annie Burns scored 12 points and Kelsey Flaherty added 10 points.

At Springfield, Mass. on Saturday, Brewer’s Chris Wilson scored 15 of his team-high 19 points in the second half as the Bobcats rallied from an eight-point deficit to win the championship game of the Springfield College Holiday Inn/Naismith Classic Wilson also shot a perfect 10-of-10 from the free-throw line Sean Wirth added nine points seven rebounds and two blocked shots for Bates, while Brian Ellis and Bangor’s Alex Gallant each had nine points and five rebounds Markus Wright led Becker with 22 points.
Union 54, Southern Maine 43
At Schenectady, N.Y., on Saturday, Steve Madej scored 13 points to lead the Dutchman to victory in the title game of the Sig Makofski Invitational Tournament Otis Smith paced Southern Maine with 11 ponits and 12 rebounds, while Sean Bergeron and Bangor’s Troy Jellison each scored 10 points Smith and senior guard Greg Whitaker of Presque Isle earned all-tournament honors from USM.
Saint Joseph’s 74, Bowdoin 70
At Standish on Saturday, Tyler Kelley scored 22 points as the Monks erased an eight-point deficit to defeat Bowdoin for the first time since 2003 Elbie Murphy added 15 points for Saint Joseph’s, while Zach O’Brien scored 13 Mark Phillips led Bowdoin with 15.
