MILLINOCKET – Geraldine E. “Jeri” Pasquine, 86, wife of the late Peter A. Pasquine Sr., died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility, on what would have been her 65th wedding anniversary. She was born July 22, 1922, in Millinocket, the daughter of Martin P. and Margaret L. (Martin) Healey. Jeri was a graduate of Stearns High School, Class of 1942. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially loved her grandchildren. Jeri had a spitfire personality and a keen sense of wit. She was very intuitive and will be remembered for her depth of knowledge about various subjects. In her younger years, Jeri enjoyed cooking Italian cuisine. She was a communicant of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Millinocket. She is survived by three children, Brenda O’Shea and her husband, Edmund, of Danvers, Mass., Catherine Steeves and her husband, Ernest, of Old Town and Peter A. Pasquine Jr. and Donna Duffy of Seattle; a sister, Eleanor Mackin of Millinocket; two sisters-in-law, Grace Meehan of Bangor and Pauline George of Millinocket; four beloved grandchildren, Michelle, Courtney, Jayme and Peter III; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Jeri was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret Howard and Mary Scott; and four brothers, Richard, Martin, Edward and Alfred Healey. The family thanks the staff at Stillwater Health Care for the loving care given to Jeri while she was a resident there. Friends are invited to visit with the family 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 19 Colby St., Millinocket. Spring interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery.
