CHERRYFIELD – Alton A. “Pete” Grant, 78, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. He shared 58 years of marriage with Janet (Bohman) Grant. In addition to his wife of Cherryfield, family members include a daughter, Cheryl A. Grant of Bangor; his sisters, Ida Willette and G. Irma Pinkham; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be sadly missed by many friends, including Carlton Willey of Cherryfield. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Dorr. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge.
