CHESTER – Marjorie E. Emery, 44, wife of Marvin Emery, died of multiple organ failure Jan. 24, 2009, at a Bangor hospital, after a long, courageous battle with liver and kidney disease. She was born June 20, 1964, in Island Falls, the daughter of Woodrow and Mavis (Pond) Sibley. Marjorie was a loving wife and mother. She loved animals, being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and was known for her great sense of humor. In addition to her husband, Marvin of Chester, she is survived by a son, Gavin Emery of Chester; eight siblings, Constance Glidden of Bristol, Conn., George Sibley and Donna of Lincoln, Berle Nason and Calvin Sr., of Houlton, Robert Sibley and Sandy of Lincoln, Dennis Sibley and Joanne of Sabattus, Glennis Thurlow and Richard of Lincoln, Amy Levesque and Michael of Lincoln and Calvin Nason Jr. and Kelly of Lincoln; 31 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Dana; a sister, Patricia; and a brother-in-law, Ronald Glidden. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. William Bewell officiating.
