CARIBOU – Priscilla B. Hill, 80, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009. She was born June 5, 1928, in Caribou, the daughter of John and Celina (Cyr) Gagnon Sr. Priscilla attended and graduated from Caribou High School. She married Robert Hill, Feb. 22, 1960, and they spent 48 wonderful years together. During their marriage they lived in California; Massachusetts; Naples, Italy; New Hampshire; and finally returned home six years ago. Priscilla’s faith was very important to her and she showed it by how she lived her life. She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. In addition to her husband, Robert P. Hill of Caribou, she is survived by six daughters, Deborah Martin and her husband, Thomas, of Linden, Va., Pamela Thompson and her husband, Paul, of Caribou, Susan Hill of Springfield, Va., Sherrie Hudson and her husband, James, of Sperryville, Va., Stephanie Hill of Lock Haven, Pa., and Barbara Fournier of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters, Marilyn Nichols of Orinda, Calif., and Louise Cyr of Presque Isle; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Clayton, Percy, Nathan and John Jr. At the family’s request, funeral services will be private.
