BREWER – Franklin N. Huntley Jr., 66, lost a very courageous battle with cancer Jan. 24, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born May 12, 1942, in Machias, the son of Franklin and Berla (Wilcox) Huntley. Frank worked for many years as an executive at General Motors, Michigan, then as a shift supervisor at Sylvania, Bangor. He was a gifted piano stylist who could make any piece of music his own. He enjoyed playing at New Moon Cafe in the past and more recently at Thistles Restaurant, Bangor. One Saturday a month Frank also donated his time playing for the residents of Penobscot Nursing Home, Penobscot. Frank will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. He touched our lives and will live in our hearts always. Services for the family will be private at a later date. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, 205 Center St., Bangor.
