CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Vikings hit their free throws late in overtime to secure a pointworthy 37-34 schoolboy basketball victory over rival Presque Isle on Wednesday night.
Cam Anderson led all scorers with 17 points for Caribou and Eric Brown added eight.
Russ Mortland and Ethan Braley netted nine points apiece and Nate Ackerson eight for the Wildcats.

Guidelines for coaches
During this busy sports season, the BDN asks that managers and coaches for the home teams promptly report the games. Games can be reported starting at 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 3 p.m. on Sundays. Games can not be reported on Saturday.

Coaches and managers are urged to provide details for both teams when reporting games. First names of players on both teams as well as statistics are needed. Those not providing full details for both teams run the risk of the games not being published in the paper.
