At Caribou, Sam Robertson tallied 13 points to propel Caribou by Houlton. Eric Brown chipped in with 10 points for the Vikings. James Bates paced Houlton with 11 points.
Calvary Chapel 58, East Grand 55
At Danforth, the Sabers overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to beat the Vikings. Zac Austin popped in 18 points to lead Calvary Chapel Christian of Orrington. Luke Martin tallied 16 points and Jared Madden added 13. Kaleb Dicker led a balanced East Grand effort with 15 points. Seth Cropley scored 14 points, while Abe Brittain registered 11 points and 13 rebounds and David Cropley had 10 points and a game-high 21 rebounds.
Stearns 66, Dexter 28
At Dexter, Garen Manzo scored 14 points and had six steals as Stearns of Millinocket cruised to its 16th victory of the season. The Minutemen (16-1) scored the game’s first 15 points and led 20-3 after one period, as Manzo had eight points in the game’s opening eight minutes. Billy Eurich added nine points for Stearns, while Tyler Richards had eight points and five rebounds and Zach Sadlon and Brandon McLaughlin also scored eight points each. Andrew Lary, one of six Dexter seniors playing their final home game at Guiski Gymnasium, led the 3-14 Tigers with 10 points, while classmate Billy Trivette grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.

At Baileyville, Noah Von Rotz posted a game-high 20 points to lead Washington Academy of East Machias by Woodland. Ben Sears paced Woodland with 13 points. Chad James netted 12 points while Ed Flaherty added 11.
Machias 72, Jonesport-Beals 69
At Machias, Michael Jenkins’ free throws down the stretch preserved the Bulldogs’ victory over the Royals. Ty Richards poured in 29 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to pace Machias, Jenkins finished with 18 points and T.J. Spencer added 13 points and 12 rebounds. Matt Alley led the Royals with 17 points, Andrew Beal contributed 13, Tyler Turcotte posted 12 and Justin Alley had 11.

At Danforth, Courtney Lloyd netted 22 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to spark East Grand by Calvary Chapel Christian of Orrington. Kelsey Daoust scored a game-high 24 points for the Vikings. Hope Johnson led Calvary Chapel with 21 points while Emily Mills added 11.
Katahdin 49, Hodgdon 36
At Stacyville, Katahdin jumped out to a 14-3 first quarter lead en route to victory over Hodgdon. Olivia McNally led the Cougars with 16 points while Jalisa Moore tallied 15 points and 14 rebounds. Brittany Davies and Chelsea Sloat paced Hodgdon with 10 points each.
Madawaska 58, Van Buren 28
At Van Buren, Kallie Pelletier registered 15 points to lead Madawaska over Van Buren. Ashley Wilson and Jennifer Ouellette paced the Crusaders with 12 points apiece.
MDI 44, Ellsworth 23
At Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island went on a 10-0 run in the first quarter as the Trojans topped the Eagles. Sara Carroll led MDI with 10 points. Lily Cooper and Sarah Stanley scored seven points each to pace Ellsworth.
Foxcroft 38, Dexter 24
At Dover-Foxcroft, Sabrina Sharrow and Courtney Withee combined to score 11 third-quarter points as the Ponies pulled away in the second half. Vanessa Lougee topped Foxcroft with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Sharrow finished with eight points. Sarah Murray topped the Tigers with nine points, and Miranda Gove added eight.
Presque Isle 54, Fort Kent 42
At Presque Isle, Chelsea Nickerson spearheaded a well-rounded Wildcat offense with 11 points as Presque Isle ended the regular season with a win. Emily Pelletier scored a game-high 15 points for Fort Kent, while Breanna Thibodeau tossed in 13 points.
John Bapst 46, Hermon 39
At Hermon, Samantha Gormley scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as John Bapst of Bangor built a 27-13 halftime lead and held on to defeat Hermon. The Crusaders essentially clinched the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Maine Class B playoffs with the victory, finishing the regular season at 16-2. Morgan Chasse was the other Crusader in double figures with 13 points. Bapst shot 24-for-34 as a unit from the free-throw line to withstand a second-half charge from the Hawks. Katie Durgin paced 9-9 Hermon with 12 points while Victoria Davenport, Erin Arnold and Danielle Ross contributed seven apiece.
Fort Fairfield 46, Washburn 39
At Fort Fairfield, Whitney Clark scored a game-high 26 points with six 3-pointers to lead Fort Fairfield by Washburn. Amanda Hotham chipped in with nine rebounds for the Tigers. Rebecca Campbell led the Beavers with 18 points, and Rachel Palmer added 16.

At Dyer Brook, Elizabeth Goodall posted nine points to lead the Warriors by Ashland. Suzie Poulin paced the Hornets with seven points.

At Corinth, Bekah Campbell scored 18 points and posted seven rebounds to lead Central to victory over Bucksport. Jocelyn Portman chipped in with 11 points for the Red Devils. Emily Lenor and Kasey Gray paced Bucksport with seven points apiece.

At Bangor, Kirsten Marter connected for 10 points as Stearns improves to 15-2. Kelly Robinson scored 13 points to pace Bangor Christian.

At Lee, the Lynx sprang to an 18-1 first-quarter lead en route to beating the Pandas. Katelyn DeRaps paced Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln with 15 points and Brooke Hanscom scored 12. Jenna Cowan led the way for Lee Academy with 14 points.

At Deer Isle, Audra Eaton scored 13 points, including the 1,000th of her career on her first basket of the game as Deer Isle-Stonington prevailed. Anika Powers also scored 13 points for the Mariners. Hannah Carver netted 14 points and Jessica MacLean 11 for Jonesport-Beals.

At Harrington, Maddie Parks’ 17 points led the Eagles of Blue Hill past the Knights. India Frazier added 13 points and Stevie Theoharidis 10 for GSA. Andrea Perry poured in a game-high 23 points to lead the Knights.

At The Forum in Presque Isle, Brennen Shaw scored three goals and assisted on another as Presque Isle defeated Orono. Shaw is only two points away from 100 for his career. Mitch Davis had a goal and an assist for the 6-3 Wildcats. Isaac LaJoie scored while Mark Carvell and Jason Martin recorded assists. Nic Davis turned away 22 of 24 shots. Brandon Paul and Dan Perry scored for 4-9 Orono. Kirk Francis and Jake Doing assisted Paul’s goal. Andrew Kozerow saved 24 of 29 shots.
Houlton-Hodgdon 6, Old Town 2
At Alfond Arena, in Orono, Ben Ward and Morgan Hall scored two goals apiece to pace the 6-8-1 Black Hawks. Cyr Abouleish and Cody Briggs added a goal apiece. Malik Abouleish turned away 23 of 25 shots for Houlton-Hodgdon. Joe Doucett and Cody Cross scored for the 1-14 Coyotes. Dan Lebretton and Cam Washburn combined for 27 saves on 36 shots for Old Town.
Bangor 11, Skowhegan 0
At Bangor, Dave Pardilla and Darren Casey-Covell scored two goals apiece as Bangor cruised past Skowhegan. The Rams out-shot Skowhegan 70-5. Cameron Taylor, Johnny Warren, Nick George, Cody McInnis, Nate Lewis, Joey Seccareccia and Jacob Turmel each added a goal. Zach Hamilton stopped all five shots for the 12-3 Rams. Jimmy Quirion made 59 saves on 70 shots for the 3-12 Indians.

At Fort Kent, the Bengals extended their winning streak to eight games with a convincing Sunrise Conference victory over the Owls. Brandon Fox scored 25 points to lead UMaine-Fort Kent, while Hamill Bassue netted 18 and snatched 10 rebounds. Ilija Kalajdzic grabbed 11 rebounds. Anthony Wingate paced UM-Fort Kent with 21 points. Ben Rosser had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds and Devon Peaslee scored 10.

Stony Brook 57, Maine 39
STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The University of Maine women’s basketball team committed a season-high 35 turnovers Wednesday night, setting the stage for Stony Brook’s 57-39 America East victory at Pritchard Gymnasium. Coach Cindy Blodgett’s Black Bears dropped to 2-19, 0-8 in conference play, while losing their 15th consecutive contest. UMaine wound up shooting 14 percent (4-for-28) from the floor and turned the ball over 14 times in the second half, opening the door for Stony Brook (5-15, 3-5 AE) to claim its third straight victory. Senior forward Colleen Kilmurray led the way for the Black Bears with 14 points and six rebounds. Brittany Boser contributed 12 points and six rebounds with three blocked shots. It was her 10th double-figure scoring effort in the last 12 games. Kristin Baker of Bingham dished out seven assists. Kirsten Jeter paced Stony Brook with 17 points. Sara Kazadi grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds. The Seawolves made their move early in the second half with the Bears leading 28-25. Stony Brook rattled off 13 unanswered points during a span of five minutes to build a 38-28 lead with 12:23 to play in the contest. Seven different SBU players scored during the decisive run. UMaine later got as close as 11 points on several occasions, but could not get any closer. UMaine actually held a tenuous 26-23 lead at halftime, despite having committed 21 turnovers in the first 20 minutes. Kilmurray (11 points) and Boser (eight points) combined for most of the Bears’ offensive production. Stony Brook had 15 turnovers of its own in the opening half. The Bears travel to Hartford for a 2 p.m. game on Saturday.
St. Joseph’s 62, Pine Manor 59
At Chestnut Hill, Mass., Meghan Daigle hit four free throws in the final three minutes and Allison Miner nailed a jumper to secure the victory for Saint Joseph’s. Megan McDevitt paced St. Joe’s of Standish with 16 points, Daigle netted 13 and Miner put in 12. Enjolee Phillips led Pine Manor with 17 points.
UMFK 56, UMPI 43
At Fort Kent, Ashley Ames scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead UMaine-Fort Kent by UM-Presque Isle. Kristen Violette added 17 points for the winners and Talisha Herring netted 13. Eric Davis paced UMPI with 21 points and 14 rebounds and Megan Korhonen added 10 points.
