JONESPORT – Wayne Elliot Faulkingham, 76, passed away Feb. 7, 2009, at his home. He was born Nov. 30, 1932, in West Jonesport, son of the late Ira and Vina Faulkingham. On July 12, 1958, he married Barbara H. Munsey in Portland. Wayne worked for W.H. Shirtlift for 20 years and also worked construction for several years. He worked for White Dernzo and Sons, and Cianbro, driving truck and trailer until he retired. Family members include his nine-year companion, Aloma Alley of Jonesport; two sons, Timothy Faulkingham and wife, Diane, and Wayne B. Faulkingham and wife, Robin; a stepdaughter, Julie DeRice and husband, Andrew; three grandchildren, Timothy, Mason and Amanda; two nieces, Gayle Stanhope Hubbard and Helen Stanhope Kipp; and two nephews, Earl Stanhope and Arnold “Buddy” Stanhope Jr. He will be sadly missed by a special friend, Elizabeth Emerson. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine Faulkingham Stanhope and her husband, Arnold Stanhope; a brother, Earl Faulkingham; and by a niece, Terri Stanhope Alley. In keeping with Wayne’s request, private burial alongside his wife and parents will be held in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery, Jonesport. Cards of condolence may be sent to Aloma Alley, P.O.
