WATERVILLE and JONESBORO – Velma D. White, 82, passed away Feb. 9, 2009, at a Waterville hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1926, in Addison, the daughter of Arthur and Doris (Grant) Look. She is survived by two daughters, Mary (Looke) Faucher and her husband, Pat, of Oakland, and Donna (White) Preston and her husband, Vernon, of Roque Bluffs; one son, Bertram White and his wife, Debbie, of Wells; one brother, Merton Look and his wife, Jan, of Westbrook; three grandsons, five granddaughters, nine great-granddaughters, four great-grandsons, nieces, nephews and many close friends. All of her grandchildren were very special to her. There will be a graveside service at Forest Hill Cemetery, Jonesboro, to be announced in the spring.
