ROCKLAND, Maine — Two drivers were hospitalized complaining of neck pain after their cars collided at Limerock Street and Old County Road on Tuesday night.

Olivia Gamage, 23, of Rockland and Randi Oakes, 19, of South Thomaston were taken to Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport after the 9:20 p.m. accident.

According to the police report, Gamage was traveling north on Old County Road in a 1996 Dodge Stratus when her vehicle was struck by a 1996 Plymouth Breeze driven by Oakes who pulled out in front of her from Limerock Street. Damage to the left front fender and tire of the Dodge was estimated at $500. Damage to the hood of the Plymouth was estimated at $400.
