BREWER – Edgar Oscar Paradis passed away Feb. 12, 2009, at his home. He was born May 6, 1944, in Bangor, son of the late Flora Bouchard. He was a painter, a mechanic and a jack-of-all-trades. He had a passion for Harley’s and fishing. He loved traveling the country and made friends wherever he went. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred Paradise; his sister, Brenda; and brother, Patrick. He is survived by son, Jeremy Hoxie; daughters, Grace and Camille of Lodi, N.J.; two granddaughters, a stepdaughter; uncle, Sylvio Paradise; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the dear friend of David Carr; and beloved uncle of David Carr Jr. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army of Bangor.
