At the Augusta Civic Center, Ben Russell scored 24 points to lead the Mt. Blue Cougars of Farmington past Morse of Bath. Jamison Sawyer contributed 19 points for the Cougars. Ryan Chaney led the Shipbuilders with 14 points.
Edward Little 61, Mount Ararat 32
At the Augusta Civic Center, James Philbrook led the Ed-ward Little Red Eddies of Auburn with 16 points. Corey Therriault scored 12 points for the Eddies. Josh Walker led the Eagles of Topsham with 10 points.
CLASS D WEST
Vinalhaven 68, Averill 51
At Augusta Civic Center, Nathan Hopkins led the Vinalhaven Vikings to the quarterfinal win with 12 points and Keith Drury added 10. Averill of Hinckley’s Zack Morse led all scorers with 25 points.
Forest Hills 40, Buckfield 36 (OT)
At the Augusta Civic Center, Cody Gilboe and Cory Plante combined for 31 points to help the Forest Hills Tigers of Jackman avoid the upset. Gilboe had 17 and Plante added 14. Kyle Rines and Tyler Weymouth scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Bucks.
Elan 47, Greenville 42
At Augusta Civic Center, Josh Peters scored 19 points to help lead Elan School by the Greenville Lakers. Sumner Queen and Elvis Rueda backed Peters with 12 points each for Elan. Tony DiAngelo led the Lakers with 22 points.
Richmond 44, Valley 39
At Augusta Civic Center, Bruce Carver’s 19-point effort led the Richmond Bobcats past Valley of Bingham. Cameron Miller scored 20 points and Chris Beane added 12 for the Cavaliers.
