MEDWAY – Gloria Marie Foley, 70, died Feb. 15, 2009, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough. She was born Nov. 2, 1938, in Medway, the daughter of John and Flora (Day) Rudge. Gloria enjoyed being outside and working in her yard. Gloria worked for many years at the nursing home in Millinocket. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. She loved spending time with her sister and friend, Anna Snowman. She is survived by three children, Debbie Thompson and her husband, Christopher, of Carmel, Gail Dorr and her husband, Frank, of Buxton, and Lawrence Foley and his wife, Debbie, of Edinburg; six siblings, Anna Snowman, Eleanor Tidwell, George, Gary, Alton and John Rudge; five grandchildren, Carri Tuulima and her husband, Joe, Angela Foley, Joe Federico, Todd Federico and his wife, Jen, and Justin Dorr; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Foley; a daughter, Janet Foley; three brothers, Anthony, Harold and Henry Rudge; and one sister, Evangeline Jones. Friends may call 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where a celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. with the Rev. Trent Boyd officiating. There will be a time of refreshment immediately after the service at the funeral home. Spring interment will be at Grindstone Cemetery.
