HOULTON – Alden J. McKay, 62, died Feb. 18, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 27, 1946, at Long Island, N.Y., the son of John and Laura (Barchi) McKay. Alden was a life long truck driver and was employed by several area trucking companies, retiring from Double D Trucking. He loved sports and tried never to miss the Red Sox, Patriots or NASCAR race. Alden is survived by his wife, Sheila (Buxton) McKay of Houlton; a son, Frank McKay; daughters, Laura and Kim McKay, all of New York; daughter, Rhonda Moran and her husband, Mark, of Houlton; two grandchildren, Caitlyn and Christopher Moran; and one brother, John McKay of Long Island, N.Y. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Dunn Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating.
