SIMPSON – Jacqueline Marie Bromwell, wife of the late Berton A. Bromwell Sr., died Feb. 19, 2009, at Potomac Hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Fort Kent, daughter of Charles and Leaster (Daggett) Simpson. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Sandra Marie Simpson of Springfield, Va.; three grandchildren, Dawn Burroughs and husband, Tony, of Lake Ridge, Va., Julie Vaughan and husband, Johnny, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Denise Buck of Kingstorone, Va.; and three great-grandchildren, Brian and Kellie Burroughs and Travis Vaughan. Also in loving memory she leaves special cousins, Mike and Kerry Dalton and family, and LuLu Legassey and special friend, Ruth Nelson, and family. Jacqueline was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, Va., with a memorial service held 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jacqueline’s favorite charity www.StJude.org.
