BANGOR – Robert “Bertie” Connor, 55, died unexpectedly Feb. 25, 2009, at a local hospital. He was a proud veteran of the Marines and the U.S. Army. Bertie was a handyman and jack-of-all-trades. He embraced Judaism later in life and enjoyed being part of the daily Minyon at both congregation Beth Israel and Beth Abraham Synagogues. A graveside service will be held noon Friday, Feb. 27, at Beth Abraham Synagogue Cemetery, Mount Hope Avenue, Bangor. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
