High winds Friday night left about 1,200 businesses and households without electricity, primarily in Washington and Hancock Counties. By 11 a.m. Saturday, crews from Bangor Hydro Electric Company had restored power to all but a handful of customers, according to a company spokesman. By Saturday afternoon, all affected lines had been repaired, he said.
