PRENTISS – Louise E. Worster, 87, died March 7, 2009, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Aug 24, 1921, in Webster, the first daughter of Percy and Lottie Mae (Worster) Smith. Louise was a great mom, dedicated to her husband and children. She was known for her “mile high” biscuits until she lost her vision. She was always ready with her two finger peace sign, and with her quick wit and ready smile. She loved her music, especially Elvis. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Vernon Archie Worster of Prentiss; her children, Marjorie and Stuart Thibodeau of Lincoln, Velma and Lloyd Lindsay of Lincoln, Patricia and Francis Drake of Springfield and Janette and Colby Maxwell of Lincoln; seven sisters and two brothers, Wallace Smith and Eleanor of Springfield, Marion Gilmore and Richard of Bath, Christine Ham and Thomas of Vacaville, Calif., Flora Curtis and Fred of Springfield, Shirley Worster of Lincoln, Betty Leach and Leroy of Lakeville Plantation, Percy Smith and Linda of Gray, Patsy Toby of Lincoln and Barbara Fleming and Lindy of Medway; 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving sons, Ronald F. Worster and Delmont L. Worster; a special grandson, Rusty F. Worster; great-granddaughter, Lexi Worster Conley; a special brother and sister, George Smith and Glenace Worster; twin infant brothers, Earl and Berle; and brother, Vaughn Smith. Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Tuesday at Prentiss Church of God, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Thomas Smith and the Rev. Thomas Glover officiating.
