ORRINGTON, Maine — An unattended death Monday on Brewer Lake Road has been attributed to natural causes, Chief Deputy Troy Morton of the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday.

County and state police were called to a residence in a heavily wooded area near Mason Hill Road at about 8:45 p.m. Monday night for a report of an unattended death.

An investigation by police and a review by an official from the State Medical Examiner’s Office determined that there were no suspicious elements surrounding the death.
