HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. -Thelma Ruth Smith Guy, 75, died Friday, March 6, 2009. She was a native of Houlton. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel C. Guy. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, George Basil Guy; five sons, a daughter, 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at St. James Episcopal Church, Hendersonville, N.C., with the Rev. Joel G. Hafer officiating.
