MADAWASKA – Florence Bouchard, 79, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Nov. 15, 1929, in Frenchville, the daughter of George and Helen (Picard) Deschaine. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska, where she also served as a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Mrs. Bouchard is survived by two daughters, Pauline Millette and her husband, Robert, of New Britain, Conn., and Jackie Beaulieu and her husband, Rosaire, of Baker Lake, New Brunswick; two sons, Ronald Bouchard and his wife, Leola, of Grovetown, Ga., and Michael Bouchard and his wife, Rachel, of Van Buren; seven grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer, Michelle, Kristy, Robert Jr., Brad and Mia; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Reno Deschaine and his wife, Chris, of Florida; three sisters, Jeannine Michaud of Lisbon Falls, Irma Russell and her husband, Real, of Madawaska, and Marie Gross and her husband, Bernie, of Florida; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bouchard was predeceased by her beloved husband, Clifford Bouchard, in 2002; a son, Richard Bouchard, in 2000; and by a grandson, Ronald Rich, in 1973. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday and noon until the time of service Saturday at Daigle Funeral Home, Madawaska.
