PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — An Exeter, N.H., man accused of burglarizing about a dozen businesses in one day also is suspected of setting a fire in Maine that caused $2 million in damage.
Everette Stickney, 29, is being held on $350,000 bail after being arrested last week in Portsmouth.
In Maine, Yarmouth police say Stickney is strongly suspected of setting a fire that damaged a three-story building Jan. 2. The Portsmouth Herald reports that Stickney also is a “person of interest” in two burglaries in Kittery, one of which involved an attempted arson.
