WINTERPORT and KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Creighton Chalmer Parker Jr., 66, passed away peacefully March 22, 2009, at a Florida health care facility, after a long respiratory illness. He was born Feb. 16, 1943, in Arlington, Mass. Creighton was a 1962 graduate of John Bapst High School. He then entered the U.S. Air Force in the K-9 Corps. Creighton worked for Bangor Fire Department for several years and after his retirement in the late 1980s, he worked at Walt Disney World. Creighton had a great love of New England sports and always cheered for the Red Sox and the Boston Bruins. Creighton is survived by one son, Brent T. Parker and his girlfriend, Sue D’Errico, of Brewer and Eddington; several special friends in Florida, Tom and Susie, Jim and Judy, Connie and Cindy; as well as very close friends John Harrington and Judy Cuddy of Winterport. In keeping with Creighton’s wishes, services will be held at a later date at the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery.
