Members of the Hampden Academy state championship mock trial team and teacher-coach Kathryn King ask for your assistance in helping them raise money to participate in May’s national mock trial competition in Atlanta.
One way you can help is by attending the team’s annual dessert theater at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, in the Hampden Academy cafeteria.
The tickets, which include refreshments and beverages, are $7 each or $20 for a family of four or more, and will be available at the door.
The theater part of the program, King said, will be the team’s presentation of the case it argued during its state championship match last December against Lewiston High School.
Another way you can help, if you can’t attend this fundraiser, is by writing a check payable to the Hampden Academy Mock Trial Team and mailing it to Kathryn King, Hampden Academy, 1 Main Road North, Hampden 04444.
For more information, call King at the school, 862-3792, or e-mail kking@sad22.us.
