WASHBURN and CAPE CO-RAL, Fla. – Steven N. Bell, 41, passed away March 14, 2009. He was born June 6, 1967, in Presque Isle. Steven was a veteran of Desert Storm, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Unit Commendation, Sea Service Deployment with two Bronze Stars, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, Kuwait Liberation Medal and Good Conduct Award. He was employed as a manager for Applebee’s restaurant. He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Cheryl Bell; children, Zackary Bell, Brianna Bell and Michael Arpa, all of Cape Coral, Fla.; parents, Robert and Audrey Bell Sr. of Washburn and Carline Thibodeau of Branson, Mo.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Phil and Barbara Sperry of Ocala, Fla.; siblings, Robert and Lisa Bell Jr. of Brunswick, Ga., Shawn Clayton of Bridgewater, Mass., Joseph Thibodeau of Atlanta, Denis and Lisa Labbe of Merrimack, N.H., Jerry and Gail Burtt of Washburn, Randy and Vickie Thibeau of Hoschton, Ga., Peter and Mitch York of Nashville, Tenn., and Debbie Bruce of Lincoln, Neb.; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. Burial will be at Sarasota (Fla.) National Cemetery.
