ETNA – Leo W. Raymond Jr., 65, died April 10, 2009, at his residence. He was born March 6, 1944, in Hartland, a son of Leo and Ada (Drown) Raymond Sr. He graduated from Hartland Academy and retired from San Antonio Shoe, Pittsfield. Leo was a member of Jubilee Family Worship Center, Newport, and enjoyed camping and gardening. He is survived by two daughters, Eugenia and husband, Michael Clukey, of Sangerville, and Pamela and husband, James Powers, of Etna; four grandchildren, Crystal and husband, Colin Moore, Heather and husband, Sande Jacobson, James Powers III, and Sabrina and husband, James Ivory; four great-grandchildren, Boleyn Moore, Trista Ryder, Madison and Cole Ivory; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Virginia Clark; and close friends, Kathy and Roland Frost. He will be sadly missed by his loving dog, Ashley. Leo was predeceased by his wife, Ruth, in 2006; three brothers and a sister. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 17, with the Rev. Carl Engstrom officiating.
