BANGOR – Charles F. O’Connell, 85, died April 13, 2009, at a Bangor nursing center. He was born May 14, 1924, in Orono, the son of Walter and Beatrice (Parlin) O’Connell. Charles graduated from Orono High School and attended the University of Maine before serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Geneva M. (Mozier) O’Connell of Bangor; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Morrill of Bangor and Elizabeth Pelletier of Sarasota, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Jane Kingsbury. A private burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
