STONINGTON – Willie M. Fifield, 89, died April 13, 2009, at a Deer Isle health care facility. He was born Dec. 20, 1919, in Stonington, the son of Maurice and Vesta (Robbins) Fifield. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 9 Thurlow’s Hill, Stonington, where a funeral service will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, April 17. Interment will be at Mount Rest Cemetery, Stonington. Gifts in his memory may be sent to Island Nursing Home, Deer Isle.
