NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Eleanor Mae Treadwell, 81, passed away April 15, 2009, after a brief illness. Eleanor was born Aug. 20, 1927, in Lincoln. She was a 1945 graduate of Mattanawcook Academy, Lincoln, and a 1946 graduate of Becker Junior College, Worcester, Mass. She worked for American Airlines and was promoted to the position of manager-supervisor for Computer Operation Services when she retired with more than 25 years of service. She was predeceased by her parents, Josie Minnie O’Roak and Fernie Blaisdell Treadwell; her sister, Helen Ruth and husband, Thomas Mozart Robinson, of Howland. She is survived by her brother and wife, George Donald and Ann Treadwell of Menlo Park, Calif.; nieces, Sabra Lorraine Robinson of Nashville, Tenn., Audrey Suzanne Robinson and husband, Stephen Mack Blakeman, of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and Eleanor Joanne Robinson Berry of Bangor; great-nieces, Heather Lorraine Blakeman of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and Jennifer Ruth Berry of Bangor; and great-nephews, Gregory Thomas Blakeman of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and David Robinson Berry of Bangor. She will be buried in Lincoln, with her family.
