PRESQUE ISLE – Owen H. Smith, 88, died April 28, 2009, at a local health care facility. He was born May 22, 1920, in Mapleton, the son of Milton and Emily (Porter) Smith. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Presque Isle, with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating. A reception will be immediately afterward at Northeastland Hotel. Interment will be at Castle Hill Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be sent to The Owen H.
