WOODLAND – Carmen Jandreau, 76, died May 5, 2009, surrounded by her loving family in Caribou, after a long illness. She was born Aug. 15, 1932, in Baker Brook, New Brunswick, the daughter of the late Emile and Ida (Pelletier) Morneault. Mrs. Jandreau was employed by Birds Eye Division of General Foods, Caribou, for a number of years, as well as Converse and Aroostook Shoe, Presque Isle and A & P, Fort Fairfield. She married Andrew J. Jandreau, Jan. 22, 1955. Mrs. Jandreau was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and also attended St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone. Surviving, in addition to her husband of more than 54 years, Andrew of Woodland; are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Aline and Robert Brissette of Caribou and Jackie and Kurt Derrah of Limestone; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Oneil and Yvette Morneault of Caribou, Ulric Morneault of St. Anne, New Brunswick and Lionel Morneault and special friend, Danielle, of Moncton, New Brunswick; two sisters, Rena Marquis and special friend, Gaetan of Baker Brook, New Brunswick and Roberta Belanger of Edmundston, New Brunswick; three granddaughters, Jocelyn Dillon and her husband, Josh, Melissa Hersey and her husband, Mike, and Heather Stalker and her husband, Joe; two great-grandsons, Aiden and Bryce Dillon; her aunt, Emelda Dubois; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jandreau was predeceased by a son, Eugene in 1991; and a sister, Noella Morneault. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone, with the very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie officiating. Interment will be at St. Louis Cemetery. After the service the family invites all to a time of fellowship and refreshments in the parish dining area.
