OLD TOWN and MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. – A graveside committal service for Melvin “Jim” Howe, who passed away March 26, 2009, in Florida, will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 15, at Lawndale Cemetery, Stillwater Avenue, Old Town. A time of fellowship in celebration of Jim’s life will be immediately afterward at the home of his daughter, Karen. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
