PALMYRA – Donna E. True, 59, died May 10, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 8, 1949, in Knox, a daughter of Robert and Gertrude (Woodard) Raymond. She graduated from Mount View High School and completed one year of paralegal training. Donna was an avid bingo player, enjoyed ceramics, scrapbooking and any craft project. She is survived by her husband, Steve of Palmyra; a son, Christopher E. and wife, Donna Dow, of Newport; four brothers, Roger and wife, Lori Raymond, of Hartland, Robert and wife, Martha Raymond, of St. Albans, Dwayne and wife, Kelly Raymond, and Elwin Raymond, all of Palmyra; two grandchildren, Christy-Lee Kennedy and Christopher A. Dow; a great-grandson, Dominic and his brother, Kyle, expected in July; many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Michelle Robbins; and dear friends, Bonnie Shibles and Bonnie Bernier. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 15, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport, where funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday, May 16, with Bishop Alan Strout officiating.
