An Orono man was arrested on several charges early Monday morning after Bangor police received a tip about a possible intoxicated driver in the parking lot of the McDonald’s restaurant on Broadway.

Tyler Strout Carlisle, 26, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, criminal operating under the influence and unlawful possession of prescription painkillers, Bangor police Lt. Jeff Millard said Thursday.

Though tests confirmed that Carlisle had consumed at least some alcohol, the OUI charge stems from alleged drug use, Millard said.
