At Ashland, Tony Baker allowed just one run and two hits through five innings and led the Hornets offense with an RBI single and a fourth-inning grand slam as Ashland defeated Washburn. Henry Milligan hit a two-run homer, double and two singles for the Hornets. He also drove in four runs and scored four runs. Carl Nemer led off the second inning with a home run and also scored three times. Trevor Pendexter hit an RBI single in the fifth for Washburn. Kyle McLaughlin also singled.
Washington Acad. 7, Machias 1
At East Machias, Bryce Colbeth hit a two-run single as Washington Academy defeated Machias. John Hall came into the third inning with the bases loaded and no outs but didn’t allow a run for the Raiders. Chris Prichard hit an RBI single. Sam Whitney led Machias with two singles and an RBI. Matt Little added two singles.
Bucksport 5, Hermon 4
At Bucksport, Ray Wood scored the game-winning run on a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh inning as Bucksport edged Hermon. Cam Wentworth doubled and singled with an RBI while Jordan Trasko added a double and a single for the Golden Bucks. Brad Debay paced Hermon with a home run and a double. Tyler Fournier hit three singles while Cody Veilleux had two singles.
John Bapst 8, Mattanawcook 8
At Lincoln, John Bapst of Bangor scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning but Mattanawcook Academy scored four in the bottom half to tie it at 8-8. The game was suspended after the inning and will be finished at a later date. Josh Murchison drove in Shawn Cahill with an RBI single to cap the four-run sixth inning for the Lynx. Murchison also hit a solo homer in the fifth inning. Ivan Voisine and Tyler Tash each had two singles and two RBIs. Chase Huckestein led the Crusaders with a three-run triple in the first and an RBI single in the second. Bill Wetherbee highlighted the three-run sixth with a two-run home run.
Jonesport-Beals 6, Shead 4
At Jonesport, Andrew Beal hit three singles and knocked in a run to lead Jonespor-Beals by Shead of Eastport. Sid Look had two singles and an RBI while Harold Lyons added two singles. Sean Milliken and Mathew Alley each added an RBI single for the Royals. Nick Vinson had two singles and an RBI to pace Shead. Caleb Ricker and Tim Barnes each had an RBI single.
So. Aroostook 22, East Grand 1
At Danforth, John Keyes drove in four runs on two singles and a double as Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook powered past East Grand. Steve Grant had three doubles and two RBIs for the Warriors. Travis Smith hit three singles with two RBIs while Tyler Robinson added three singles. Abe Brittain hit an RBI single to pace East Grand.
Madawaska 32-15, Wisdom 10-12
At Saint Agatha, Ethan Welch and Michael Cannan each homered twice to lead Madawaska to victory in the first game of their doubleheader. Jon Lee tripled, doubled twice, singled and had three RBIs in the second game for the Owls. In the first game, Welch also doubled and Cannan added a single for Madawaska, while Nathan Beaulieu homered and singled. Curt Picard homered and singled for Wisdom, while Curt Collin and Dustin Guerrette also homered. In the second game, Andrew Deschenes doubled, singled and drove home two runs for Madawaska. Picard homered, doubled and singled for Wisdom, while Collin homered.
Katahdin 19, Hodgdon 1
At Stacyville, Katahdin erupted with nine runs in the first inning en route to victory over Hodgdon in five innings. Josh McGraw hit a three-run double for the Cougars. Ethan Qualey doubled and singled while Andy Kay and Evan McCarthy each hit two singles. Ryan Wellington and Eric Ryan each singled for Hodgdon.
Presque Isle 10, Fort Kent 3
At Presque Isle, Ethan Braley pitched a complete game with 12 strikeouts while helping his own cause with a double, a single and an RBI to lead Presque Isle by Fort Kent. Isaac LaJoie hit a double with two RBIs while Wilder York had a single and two RBIs. Amos Dean and Steven Ford each added an RBI single for the Wildcats. Jared Soucy paced Fort Kent with a double, a single and an RBI.

At Stacyville, Amy Grant hit two doubles, a single and knocked in three runs to propel Katahdin by Hodgdon. Lacey Pelletier had a double, a single and an RBI for the Cougars. Kayla Hovey and Dayna Tidd each hit a double and a single for Hodgdon.

At Danforth, Brittney Charette hit four singles and knocked in three runs as Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook defeated East Grand. Elizabeth Goodall homered, doubled and singled with two RBIs for the Warriors. Liz Gilman paced the Vikings with a single and a two-run double.
Washington Acad. 24, Machias 5
At East Machias, Washington Academy racked up 31 hits en route to a convincing victory over Machias. Taylor Davis pitched a one-hitter with nine strikeouts while helping her own cause with three singles, a triple and two RBIs. Andi Flannery had a home run, a double, a single and four RBIs while Bre Nicely added two singles, a double and two RBIs. Jordan Ranke hit a single for Machias.
Hermon 2, Bucksport 0
At Bucksport, Lily Barry hit a fly to centerfield in the eighth inning that glanced off the fielder’s glove and landed over the fence, scoring the only two runs for Hermon. Jaimie Beers singled and scored in the eighth for Hermon. Barry doubled and Mckayla Bates tripled and singled. Debbie Colpitts struck out 11 and walked none. Bucksport freshman Mindy Pye recorded her first regular season varsity hit in the seventh inning with a single. Abby Yoe had nine strikeouts and one walk.
Fort Fairfield 12, Van Buren 10
At Van Buren, Emily Weissman hit a three-run double to highlight a six-run third inning as Fort Fairfield topped Van Buren. Katie Godin had four singles and four RBIs while Amanda Hotham added two singles and an RBI for the Tigers. Lindsay LaJoie tripled and doubled for Van Buren. Jen Ouellette had two doubles and an RBI while Shawna Lapointe and Robyn Violette each had two singles and an RBI.
Jonesport-Beals 18, Shead 17
At Jonesport, Hannah Carver hit four singles, a double and drove in four runs to spark Jonesport-Beals by Shead of Eastport. Sarah Milliken hit two singles and a double while BreAnna Beal singled and doubled with four RBIs for the Royalettes. Robyn Stuart posted a double and a single with five RBIs while Cassie Barnes added two singles and five RBIs for Shead.
Ashland 19, Washburn 9
At Ashland, Anna Paradis hit three singles and knocked in four runs as Ashland defeated Washburn in a rain-shortened game. Miranda Donovan hit a two-run single to highlight a 10-run fourth inning for Ashland. Rachel Palmer singled in the second and knocked in a run in the third for Washburn.
Presque Isle 29, Fort Kent 10
At Presque Isle, Krista Coffin became the first home player to hit a home run over the wall in seven years as Presque Isle routed Fort Kent. Coffin also doubled and singled for the Wildcats. Allison Young had two doubles and a single and Jenna Stephenson scored five runs. Jessica Walker singled twice for Fort Kent. Michaela Desjardins hit a two-run single.
Madawaska 19, Wisdom 2
At St. Agatha, Nicole Cyr went 4-for-4 with three singles, a double and two RBIs as the Owls triumphed. Lindsay Lavoie singled three times while Kallie Pelletier had two singles plus an RBI for Madawaska. Sarah Paradis, Crystal Paradis, Ashley Raymond and Megan Guerrette singled for Wisdom.
Old Town 14, MDI 10
At Old Town, Hannah Morin had a double, two singles and knocked in three runs as Old Town held off Mount Desert Island of Bar Harbor. Annie Cashon hit three singles for Old Town. Micayla Hussey had two singles and scored two runs and Katelynn Ouellette hit a two-run tri-ple. Brianne Pratt paced MDI with three singles. Micayla Curtis hit a two-run double and Wendy Wallace added two singles and two RBIs.
