BUCKSPORT – Charles S. Piotrowski, 83, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital Hospice Unit, Blue Hill. He was born July 18, 1925. He was formerly employed at Uniroyal Footwear Co. for 32 years. He was also a lifetime member of VFW, having served in the Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret of Bucksport; his children, Sandra SanAngelo and husband, Lonnie, of Bucksport, Theresa Gendron and husband, Kevin, of Naugatuck, Conn., and Anthony Terni and wife, Tamara, also of Naugatuck, Conn.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather for visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, May 22, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Franklin Street, Bucksport, with Father Richard McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be at Silver Lake Cemetery, Bucksport.
