WINTERPORT – Willard “Bob” Robert Gerry, 75, passed away May 18, 2009, surrounded by his loving family, in Winterport. Bob was born Nov. 12, 1933, in Dover-Foxcroft, to Emery Gerry and Florence (Murray) Gore. Bob is survived by his four children, Cynthia “Susie” Smith and husband, Elmer Jr., of Winterport, Sandra Kingsbury and her husband, Paul, of Winterport, Michael Steven Gerry Sr. and fiance, Dawn, of Winterport, and Robin Gerry of Holden; a brother, John A. Gerry and wife, Connie, of Winterport; a sister, Gladys McCann of Bangor; eight grandchildren with another expected in June, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Bob will also be sadly be missed by his cat, Stubby. He was predeceased by his parents; and infant son, Willard R. Gerry Jr. In keeping with Bob’s wishes there will be no formal funeral services, however a celebration of his life will be held at a later date to be announced. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
