At Woodland, Dean MacDonald hit four singles and plated three runs to lead the Pandas to victory. Winning pitcher A.J. Harris hit a solo homer and two singles, while Ryan Beers stroked a triple and a double with four RBIs. Jordan Perry paced Woodland with a double, two singles and two RBIs. Chad James added two singles and two RBIs.
GHCA sweeps East Grand
At Danforth on Monday, Greater Houlton Christian Academy collected 30 hits while sweeping a doubleheader from East Grand. The Eagles won both games, in five innings, by identical 13-3 scores. In Game 1, Mack Burns rapped a double and three singles with three RBIs to pace GHCA. Ryan Campbell posted a double and two singles with three RBIs, while Zach Straubel (RBI) and Chad Duff added two singles each to back winning pitcher Jeff Campbell, who spread out eight hits. Caleb Dicker, Aaron Henn, David Cropley and Matt Steeves had two singles apiece for the Vikings. In Game 2, Isaiah Straubel pitched a two-hitter and provided three singles and two RBIs to lead the Eagles. Zach Straubel hit a double and two singles with two RBIs and Ethan Brady singled three times. David Cropley tripled for East Grand.
Caribou 12, Presque Isle 4
At Caribou, Cameron Anderson hit a double, two singles and drove in four runs to lead Caribou past Presque Isle. Brandon Caverhill added two singles, a double and two RBIs for the Vikings. Pat Thibodeau doubled and singled with two RBIs. Matt Chasse led Presque Isle with two singles, a double and two RBIs. Eric Morris and Brennan Shaw each singled twice.
Shead 11, Narraguagus 3
At Harrington, Caleb Ricker hit two singles, a double and drove in two runs to help lead Shead of Eastport past Narraguagus. Nick Vinson hit three singles and knocked in a run for Shead. Ryan Bowen also singled three times. Josh Beal doubled and singled with an RBI for the Knights. Matt Moore had two singles and Ausitn Schoppee doubled.

At Houlton, Josh Gillespie hit a triple, two doubles and drove in two runs as Calais defeated Houlton. Jordan Leeman added two singles, a triple and three RBIs for Calais. Josh Harvey led Houlton with two singles and a run driven in. Pat Longstaff hit an RBI double.
John Bapst 6, Foxcroft 3
At Dover-Foxcroft, Matt Duplisea hit a two-run double in the third inning to give the Crusaders the lead for good as they avenged an earlier loss to the Ponies. Nick Pooler added three singles and two RBIs for John Bapst of Bangor, while Jason McBurnie earned the pitching win with seventh-inning relief help from Nick Christie. Jamie Nason singled twice for Foxcroft, while Kyo Mikame added a sacrifice fly.
Mattanawcook 11, Central 2
At Corinth, Ethan White hit a sacrifice fly and a seventh-inning two-run home run to help lift Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln over Central. Tyler Tash added another two-run homer in the seventh for the Lynx. Lance Bernier singled twice, Shawn Cahill hit an RBI double and Donnie Russell double. Josh Collins hit a two-run homer in the sixth and a single to lead the Red Devils.
Hermon 8, Old Town 1
At Old Town, Brian Day pitched a four-hitter while notching seven strikeouts and three walks to lead Hermon past the Coyotes. Jesse Graffam had a double and a single. Marty McLaughlin and Tyler Fournier each hit a double for the Hawks. Gabe Melmed singled and scored the lone run on Casey Eses’ sacrifice fly for Old Town.

At Fort Fairfield, Shelby Hartin stroked a three-run double in the top of the ninth inning to lift the Warriors of Dyer Brook to victory. Janel Rockwell and Olivia Raymond each hit three singles and Elizabeth Goodall tripled and doubled to back winning pitcher Brittany Charette. Emily Wiseman smacked a two-run home run and a single to pace Fort Fairfield. Amber Wasson tripled and singled and Kelsie Wilson singled three times behind losing pitcher Kelsie York.
Madawaska 18, Van Buren 7
At Van Buren, the Owls scored 12 times in the fourth inning to erase a four-run deficit and beat the Crusaders. Lindsay Lavoie hit a double and two singles with four RBIs to lead unbeaten Madawaska. Nicole Cyr doubled twice with two RBIs, Ashley Beaulieu hit two singles and knocked in four runs and Erin Dugal added two singles and an RBI behind winning pitcher Kallie Pelletier. Lindsay LaVoie sparked Van Buren with three singles and an RBI. Amanda Labreck hit two singles with an RBI, while Robyn Violette and Macy Ouellette added two singles each.
Calais 8, Houlton 5
At Houlton, Toni Cole hit a solo home run in the second inning to help lead Calais to victory over Houlton. Honor Wilkinson hit a two-run double in the sixth for Calais as Shannon Brown and Tessa Clark added RBI singles. Erika Lackey hit a single and a seventh-inning two-run home run to lead Houlton. Chelsea Murray added three singles and two RBIs.
Presque Isle 9, Caribou 7
At Caribou, Presque Isle scored five runs in the top of the seventh innings, thanks in part to a three-run error, to overturn a 5-4 deficit and take the win over Caribou. Krista Coffin drove in four runs on a double and a single for Presque Isle. Allison Young had four singles and two RBIs and Emilee Currie added three singles. Ashley Doucette had three singles, a double and scored two runs for Caribou. Jamie Martin had three singles, three runs and three stolen bases. Kristen Espling hit a two-run double and Madison Outing hit an RBI triple.
Woodland 12, Lee 0
At Woodland, junior Shelby Bassett struck out 12 and earned her third straight no-hitter as Woodland blanked Lee Academy. The no-hitter was Bassett’s fourth in eight starts. In the last three games, she struck out 36 and walked two. Molly White had a triple, two singles and knocked in two runs for the Dragons. Ashley Laking and Julia Nicholas doubled and singled. Ariel Knights hit two singles and drove in two runs in her first game back from a finger injury. Christine Boomer had two singles and Bassett hit a two-run single.

At Corinth, Tayla Trask pitched a one-hitter as Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln improved to 10-1. Trask struck out 18 and walked one for the Lynx. Jessica Fortin tripled and singled with an RBI. Brooke Hanscom hit two singles and Rianne Gardner added an RBI single. Central’s Michelle Ferrie broke up the no-hitter in the sixth inning with a single.
Shead 19, Narraguagus 6
At Harrington, Robyn Stuart hit a two-run double as Shead of Easport scored 19 runs to defeat Narraguagus. Randy Dewitt had an RBI single for Shead. Jenna Beal led the Knights with a double.
Greenville splits twinbill
At Greenville, the Greenville Lakers dropped the first game of a doubleheader 10-5 against Southern Maine Christian Academy of Windham, but bounced back to win the second game 4-3. In the second game, Sidney Richardson’s infield single with one out in the seventh drove Ashley Munroe home with the winning run for the Lakers. Ruby Rockwell had an RBI single. Sarah Anastosopolos and Terry Trefethen each singled twice. In the first game, Trefethen had a double, a single and two RBIs for SMCA. Jane Pratt doubled and singled, and Anastosopolos singled twice. Miranda Drinkwater and Munroe each singled twice for Greenville.
Foxcroft 3, John Bapst 1
At Dover-Foxcroft, Kelsey Boss scattered one run on five hits while striking out 12 and walking only one as Foxcroft Academy edged John Bapst of Bangor. Becca Flanders scored the game-winning run on a third-inning error while Sam Snyder tripled and scored in the second for the Ponies. Kyle Thibodeau-Harvey and Tori Huckestein each singled for John Bapst. Laura Jordan struck out eight in the loss.
Bucksport 21, Ellsworth 9
At Ellsworth, Kaitlynn Williams hit a two-run homer in the third and tripled to help lead Bucksport past the Eagles. Sarah Sutherland hit a two-run home run in the sixth and Mindy Pye had a double and scored four runs. Maggie Harding led Ellsworth with a two-run homer and a triple. Casey Wyman had a triple, a single and an RBI. Ashley Smith also tripled and singled.
