DOVER-FOXCROFT – Henry A. Lord, 78, husband of Donnice (Roberts), passed away peacefully May 28, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 28, 1930, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Maurice and Doris (Sevey) Lord. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after serving his country in the Korean War. During this time, he received two Bronze Stars, the Korean Service Medal, a National Defense Service Medal and a United Nations Service Medal. He loved his family and his farm, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Henry is survived by his beautiful wife, Donnice; his two daughters, Helen Jones and her husband, David, and Dianne Merrill; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Roy Lord; his sister, Helen Nicholas; several nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
