At Howland on Saturday, Casey McCloskey ripped two singles and a double to plate two runs as the sixth-seeded Howlers rolled past No. 11 Narraguagus of Harrington. Kirstina Hallett hit a two-run double for PVHS, which takes on third-seeded Sumner in East Sullivan on Thursday. Kristina Bailey had two singles for Narraguagus.

Barry McCarthy
WINTERPORT — Barry McCarthy of Monroe shot his first hole-in-one Monday at Streamside Golf Course. He made the ace using a pitching wedge on the 120-yard, par-3 fourth hole. The shot was witnessed by Daniel McKay.
Amy Meservey
OLD TOWN — Milford’s Amy Meservey shot her first hole-in-one at Hidden Meadows Golf Course on Monday. She used a driver to make the shot on the 165-yard, par-3 eighth hole. The ace was witnessed by Jason Ketch.
