EASTON – Ann V. Adams, 59, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, June 17, 2009, at a Portland health care facility. She was born April 1, 1950, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Milford H. and Flora (Jenkins) Adams. She was a graduate of Easton High School, Class of 1969 and had been employed by McCain’s Foods, Inc., Easton, for many years. She was a member of Easton Baptist Church and attended Calvary Baptist Church, Westfield. Ann will be remembered as a wonderful sister, aunt and great-aunt who cared deeply for all her family members. She was predeceased by her father, Milford H. Adams, Aug. 11, 1997; and her mother, Flora Adams, July 24, 2007. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Suzanne Adams of Easton; two nephews, Clinton Adams and his wife, Kristie, and Cameron Adams, all of Easton; two great-nephews, Mason and Max Adams of Easton; several cousins and extended family members. In keeping with Ann’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours. A graveside service of committal will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 22, at Estes Park Cemetery, Easton, with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Ann to Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 87, Westfield, ME 04787. Arrangements have been entrusted to Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield.
