Bangor sweeps Penquis
At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Devon Lyshon hit a two-run single to highlight a four-run eighth inning as Bangor defeated Penquis 6-2 in the first game of a Saturday doubleheader.
The Comrades won the second game 13-5.
In the first game, Cody McInnis hit two singles and an RBI double for Bangor. Shane Walton hit an RBI triple and a single while Chad Kelley had two singles.
Ian Champeon hit an RBI double while Josiah Richard and Brett White each added a double for Penquis.
In the second game, Lyshon posted a double, two singles and two RBIs to lead the Comrades. Walton hit a triple and an RBI single while Kyle Savage and Kelley each had a double, a single and an RBI.
Josh Collins paced Penquis with a two-run home run, two RBI singles and an RBI double. C.J. Giles added a double.

Trenton 7, Lincoln 2
At Blue Hill, Calvin Tweedie hit a two-run single as part of a five-run third inning as Trenton topped Lincoln.
Steve Zirnkilton hit an RBI double while Nick Saunders added an RBI single for Trenton.
Andy Kay and Justin Pelkey each hit an RBI single to pace Lincoln.

Brewer, Lincoln split
At Millinocket, Brewer and Lincoln split a Saturday doubleheader, with the Falcons taking the opening game 12-1 and the Lumber the second 6-1.
In the first game, Steve Klenowski had three singles and three RBIs to pace Brewer.
Caleb Smith added two singles and two RBIs and Chase Daniels a two-run single.
Andy Kay hit a solo home run for Lincoln and Ivan Voisine a double and single.
In the second game, Voisine drove in a run with a double and Justin Pelkey another with a single as Lincoln triumphed.
A.J. Harris contributed two singles for the Lumber.
Klenowski had two singles and Ryan Bailey two singles and an RBI for Brewer.

Hampden sweeps Motor City
At Bangor, Hampden scored 18 runs in two games to sweep Motor City, 6-3 in the first game and 12-5 in the second.
In the opener, Josh Tardiff hit a two-run triple and Cody Miller an RBI single to back winning pitcher Shawn Smith, who went the distance to get the win.
Matt Enman doubled in a run and John Johnson had two singles plus an RBI for Motor City.
In the second game, Cody Johndro had three singles and three RBIs and Derek Amoroso two singles, a triple and an RBI as Hampden earned the sweep.
Brennan Perry tripled and singled for an RBI for the Riverdogs and Miller had two singles with an RBI.
Casey Hull, Johnson, John Gagnon and Nick Pooler each had two singles with an RBI for Motor City.

Motor City 8, Presque Isle 1
At Bangor, John Gagnon had three singles to knock in three runs as Motor City defeated Presque Isle on Sunday.
Matt Enman singled in two runs while Nick Smith tripled for the winners.
Nate McLaughlin hit a triple for Presque Isle.
