NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – Mr. Kenneth Robert Vincent, 93, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at his residence. A son of the late Walter Vincent and Annie McGuahey Vincent, he was born in Houlton and had lived in Millinocket until moving to North Augusta, S.C., in 2007. He was the owner/operator of Vincent’s Service Station that served the Millinocket community from the late 1950s through the 1980s. A private pilot, hardly a day went by when he didn’t spend time with his plane and his friends at Millinocket Municipal Airport. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Helen; and his son, Kenneth Robert Vincent Jr. He is survived by a son, Donald Vincent of North Augusta, S.C.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Vincent will take place at Millinocket Cemetery at a later date. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Aiken, S.C., is assisting the family.
